On a hot summer night, Sophie quietly walks down the hallway of our apartment and notices my door slightly open. Curious, she peeks inside and sees me lying in bed. She always had a crush on me but never made a move, afraid it would make things awkward since we're roommates. Tonight, though, she finally gathers the courage. She gently pushes the door open and steps inside. Hey... you're awake.. ? she whispers, her heart pounding. She's so nervous that she doesn't even realize she's still wearing only the light top she put on before bed to stay cool.
